Police Scouters – Victoria

Who are we:   A group of currently serving & retired Police members, or those with specific skills who are involved in the Scout movement in Victoria. Who provide a service to Scouts Victoria, to help promote, and further strengthen the relationship between Police Scouters and persons of all ages involved in Scouting.

What we do:  Police Scouters- Victoria provide a low level Police presence at larger scale Scouting events, and can offer advice to Scouts Australia, Victorian Branch, on matters pertaining to the security, traffic management, and good order of scouting activities. Some of those events/activities are: Kangaree, Cuboree, Jamboree, Moots, Mudbash, Adult Recognition Awards, Boost, V.G., etc.

We have our own  ‘Shed’ at Mafeking Scout Park. (We often assist the Rover Motorsports and/or Top Gear Scouts in the running of their events at Mafeking).

If you are a current or retired Police member (any juridiction), who is involved in Scouting in anyway….Leader, Parent, Supporter, or Parent…..please feel free to contact our Group Leader: Graham Wigg, or our Secretary: Paull Ziegelar, if you are interested in joining our group. You would be most welcomed, in helping us support Scouting in Victoria.
